Beartrap Meadow | Yellow and Lavender Rustic Wedding | Bailey & Kellan

Every wedding I photograph has a moment that sticks in my mind. But when it comes to Bailey & Kellan’s wedding at Beartrap Meadow… I have too many to pick just one! With Sunflowers and lavender florals as such a perfect combo for this early summer wedding, it was as beautiful as it was swoon worthy!

We had rain in the forecast, and clouds loomed over coming and going. But not one drop rained on this gorgeous parade! That said, we did deal with quite a lot of mud! Bailey was prepared as heck though, having her and her girls rock rain boots! While it was definitely not the warmest day (especially with mountain elevation), these two had already braved -7 degree weather for their engagement, and a full on rainstorm for their family photos! So a lil bit of cold and mud, piece of cake for these two!

The first look, the ceremony, their first dance, the cake cutting. Not one moment wasn’t filled to the brim with joy! And I especially loved how these two included their extremely handsome boys, Cayden and Grayson in every part of the day! The Look on Kellan’s face when he saw Bailey at their first look, was enough to melt anyone’s heart! And during the ceremony a hummingbird joined us, darting around their wedding arch. If that isn’t a sign of good luck, I don’t know what is!

These two were a photographer’s dream. I’m not kidding. Both of them were so easy going and just so dang happy to be husband and wife! During their portraits, every time I asked Kellan to get close to Bailey, he would light up and say “Oh absolutely!”. Seriously, these two! All the heart eyes!!! They bring out the best in each other and you can’t help but see how much they would do for one another when you are with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Stenhaug! Thank you both so so so much! I have loved every moment I got to spend with you and I am so happy for you guys! You have built a gorgeous family that everyone can witness the love in! I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture that beautiful bond you all share! Congratulations again! I’m so dang happy for you!!!
