Winter and snow bring with it cold, slick roads, higher energy bills, and a whole bunch of other things that I am not super fond of. BUT along with that laundry list, comes a list of pretty great things too. Like sledding, hot chocolate, thick cozy socks, and beautiful white powdery mountains! Planning a mountain session in the winter always feels like a roll of the dice, because no one want to drive up a slippery mountain on a day we happen to get snow dumping from the sky. Luckily this Saturday was a picture perfect day to capture this fantastic family!

Tara, Benjamin, and Jason came out to the cold, and while the boys might have (alright lets switch out might with a definitely) thought I was a crazy lady for having them smile while they were shivering, they did such a rockstar job! Benjamin had me cracking up the whole time and Jason loved getting to snuggle up with his mom! Tara, thank you so much for bringing your boys up to Casper Mountain and letting me photograph your magnificent family! You three were terrific!!!!
