While I sat in my car before Saturday’s engagement session, prepping my gear for what was happening outside, I was more than giddy. It was a blizzard out there. Snow poring down in buckets! And here we were about to get out of our warm dry cars, and stand in the thick of it, on PURPOSE!!!

When I met Stephanie and Colter for the first time, we sat down for a warm cup of coffee in a warm building. Now, in a very stark contrast, we walked through the falling snow. It was wet. It was cold. It. Was. So. Worth. It. During our session Stephanie told me she had been desperately wanting snow for her engagement session, and here it was by the boat load. Making for an absolutely magical winter engagement session!!!

Not only did I get to hang out with these two wonderful people, but I also met their two four legged babies, June and Elmer. Who were both just as stoked to hang out in the white flurry as we were! From beginning to end, Stephanie and Colter were seriously amazing, never once giving in to how freezing I know they really were!!! And this beautiful couple lit up the camera! Seriously, If this couple were to bottle up the love they have for each other, they could easily warm our entire frosted landscape.

Stephanie and Colter, I am so crazy stoked for how much joy you and your families will get to share on your wedding day! And feel so incredibly honored that I will get to be there to witness it! Thank you so so so so so much for coming out in a blizzard you two!!! This is one engagement session I will never forget!
