I don’t even know how to describe 2018 you guys… For real. It was all I dreamed of and so much more! Now I’m not going to say it was all sunshine and rainbows. Every year has bad days. Heck sometimes bad WEEKS. But I have adopted the habit of focusing greatly on the good. Which made 2018 nothing but extraordinary in so many ways!

This was my first full year of being nothing but a mom, wife and wedding photographer. I hit that one year from going full time mark and couldn’t believe it. I was blessed to the brim with amazing couples, wonderful weddings, and so much more. I can remember very clearly downplaying my dreams of running a business. It’s just a side hustle… I’m just a mom who takes pictures. WHAT?!? I just want to shake 2017 Hayden guys. She spent a lot of time trying to prove how much less she was worth. But 2018 started off with a bang and she couldn’t pretend not to be head over heals in love with her life and line of work anymore! Snowy engagement sessions, spring weddings, all of it was so magical!

Even when busy season hit, with late summer and early fall in full swing, I couldn’t help but be so overjoyed with every moment I got to capture! From tearful first looks, epic golden hour portraits, beautiful details. It all had me swooning! I photographed my first Jackson Hole wedding. Participated in my first styled shoot. Went to my first photography conference. Met so many of my idols in the wedding industry. Just so many firsts that I am so crazy thankful for!

I can’t say enough how much I love each one of my amazing HE couples! Without them I couldn’t do what I love. I have moments that mean the world to me from every engagement session and wedding day. And I am so stoked to see the beautiful lives these amazing couples share together! Cheers to 2018!!! It was marvelous to say the least!!!
