If I had a dime for every time I was referred to as a morning person, I would have… ZERO DIMES! But while planning Bailey and Kellan’s engagement session, when our original plan had to change due to warmer temperatures (Our Wyoming weather has been a little all over the place this year!) there was one location I couldn’t stop thinking about. And in order for it to work, it would need to be a sunrise session. So you can bet we all woke up crazy early to make these wonderful engagement photos happen!

I have photographed Bailey and both of these two’s handsome boys Cayden and Greyson. But this was the first time I got to photograph these two as the amazing couple they are, and they did not disappoint! You can imagine when I woke up, checked the forecast for Alcova lake, only to see that it would be just ONE degree before sunrise, with wind of course, I was a little more than nervous! But the wind was calmer than expected, and these two took on the cold like champions!!!

When Bailey and I got to meet up for coffee to chat all things wedding, She told me about the first time she saw Kellan, he was near her home on duty as a police officer, she immediately asked a friend if they knew who he was! And now they are officially engaged!!!

Between freezing (to death) stepping on multiple snow hidden cacti, and swooning over these two and their wonderful relationship, Saturday morning was so very much worth the cold! Bailey and Kellan! I seriously cannot wait for you two to tie the knot! If it’s going to be anything like your engagement session (only warmer LOL), it’s bound to be fantastic!!!
