21. Find Your Bridesmaids Dresses– I love how the wedding industry has changed over the years. Every year we see more brides straying away from the norm and expected traditions. But with all of those traditions being set aside, there is one problem. You now have so many options! Whether you decide to have all of your bridesmaids in the same dresses, or you allow them to choose their own within your chosen color pallet you have a big decisions! Make sure to give your girls plenty of time to not only get their dresses ordered, but to have a fitting too.

22. Select Your Flowers/Florist– Because florists have the ability to take on more than one client a day you have a bit more time to pick one than with a photographer or a venue. But you do have a lot to plan with your flowers. You have to choose your bouquet, boutonnières, center pieces, and any isle decor will also have to be taken into account as well. If you have no idea what the heck you want, check out a few gardening magazines and see what flowers catch your eye and while keeping in mind the season your wedding will be. Then consult with a professional or someone who has a background with floral arrangements about your vision and they can make it come to life!

23. Plan Transportation– If you’re having a one location wedding then this decision is pretty simple. But if you want to arrive to your venue or exit to the reception in a limo, classic car, horse and buggy, or row boat, then you have a bit more planning ahead. You will need to use your timeline to discus drive time and arrival time with the driver or person who owns the vehicle.

24. Plan any rentals of tables/chairs– Some venues are all inclusive when it comes to this stuff. Others are not. So if yours is one of the latter, now is the moment to start looking into those rentals. Be sure to ask if the company will include any linens or runners for your tables. If you’re planning and outdoor ceremony or reception, it is a good idea to invest in tents too. This will not only protect your guest from rain, but the hot sun if you’re having a summer wedding!

There is week 6 for you! Keep in mind, now that we have started with six months before your wedding, things will start going a lot faster! And take it from me, any procrastinating at this point will most likely bite you right in the bum. So get going on these tasks until next week!
