Wyoming Fall Session | Unterseher Family

Autumn in Wyoming is short lived. After a brief color change the lively fall colors drain from the trees and make way for rich creams and browns. While I do love the vibrant colors the changing leaves bring, there is something about photographing in the soft yellow landscape that warms my soul. Maybe its the glow it gives off just before sunset. It could be the illusion of warmth it brings even with the temperature drop. Or maybe it’s actually the families I am photographing, filling up the golden canvas with joy. No matter what it is that gravitates me toward this time of year, the landscape definitely came in second place on Saturday. Easily trumped by this beatuiful and amazing family.

When Stevi, Zack and I ventured out for their family session, I was so excited to meet their little man Presley. Who is almost a year and a half old, has cheeks to die for, loves playing with sticks and leaves, and completely worked it for the camera. While this couple might be first time parents, they played it off like veterans! Totally prepared, relaxed, and just completely awesome to be around! They also didn’t act like I was crazy when I kept my “baby voice” on when Presley was not in the photo (yikes!). These three were so fun to photograph and I absolutely loved getting to document how stellar of a family they are. So a monumental thank you to Presley, Stevi and Zach for joining me this weekend! You guys rock!
