This past weekend feels like a dream with how wonderful it was! Not only did we get to work with two brides, but they were a dream to photograph! When I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn to start taking Ericka and Sara’s getting ready photos, the whole room was filled with excitement! Both brides had not seen one another’s dresses and stayed in separate rooms so as not to spoil their first look. So when they exchanged wedding day gifts with one another, their 3 adorable kids Colter, Carsen and Claire, were the messengers! Throughout their whole day you could see this family of 5 celebrating together as one. Because that is what matters to them above all else, and also what I love most about these two beautiful brides!

After they were ready, and it was time for the first look, we headed to the river. Where fall was just starting to make it’s appearance. Standing with their backs to one another you could feel their excitement! They turned around and both of their jaws dropped seeing each other! As they embraced their moms burst into happy tears, and their kiddos beamed from ear to ear. It was a first look filled with so much joy and one I will never forget.

From there we made our way to the Hall On Ash where we walked into a dusty blue paradise! Every detail was planned to perfection by Sabrina Spears from the Claire’s rainbow confetti, to the velvet chair accents. Every member of the family of 5 walked down the aisle ready to seal the deal! And after the vows were said, they were declared officially married!!! Sara and Ericka quite literally glow every time they looked at one another. They work as a family with their beautiful children, and love one another with their whole hearts. I truly cannot think of a better word to describe them other than soulmates. And I cannot wait for the amazing life they are going to live now that they are all wifed up!

To the Newlyweds! Thank you both for letting Troy and I photograph you and your family on your wedding day! I really loved every second of it! Congratulations to you FIVE!!! Love you guys!!!
