This wedding you guys! Was beautiful in all the ways! From the perfectly executed mismatched terracotta theme, to the love Katie and Joel have for one another. It was a day we will never forget! When we arrived at Bessemer Mountain Lodge, Katie and her girls were hanging out together in their matching robes. With the best dog of honour, Mac! While the groomsmen played pool and toasted to Joel before getting on their floral ties and leather suspenders. Then we were off to the first look!

When Joel turned to see his bride, his face lit up! Joy filled the moment as these two embraced. But my favorite part of their first look, was when these two started dancing together! Practicing the first dance in the sweetest way! Then we headed to the ceremony! Where they planted a lemon tree together symbolized the unity they both now share.

It’s no secret that photographers love sunlight. So when the clouds came and covered the sky right as we started their portraits, we kept our fingers crossed that we might get just a minute of glow back for the brand new Mr and Mrs Simonson. And you know what? We did! The trust my couples have for me, is unparalleled! Because when I told them we had a brief moment of glow, they ran with us to our portrait locations! Making those husband and wife portraits, showcasing the beautiful start of their marriage, so swoon worthy!

Katie and Joel! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I couldn’t be more thrilled for you both! You truly are a perfect match and your love for each other is one of a kind! I cannot wait to see all of the amazing adventures you will both enjoy together! Love you guys!!!
