For someone who really doesn’t like winter, it so odd that I’m absolutely head over heels for snowy sessions! Especially when the weather lets us head up to Casper Mountain. Which is exactly where we ventured for Shea and Nicholas’s engagement photos!

These two made freezing to death look like a walk in the park. No complaints, all the laughs, all the snuggles, making my job so much fun! I got to capture their beautifully unique engagement ring, their sweet pup, and two toy dinos. Which were the perfect details to tie their session to their dinosaur themed wedding!

Nicholas proposed to Shea this past August, while they were driving around the Black Hills in Shea’s favorite car. They got out and Shea went to look at the water where ducks were swimming, when she turned around, there he was, on one knee, asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. Now, they are ready to tie the knot this coming August and I can’t even wait!!!

When we met up for coffee Shea talked about a moment she will always remember with her future husband. They were driving and she hit play on her CD player, when Metallica started playing, he looked at her and said “I’m going to marry you”. That memory is one of many they have shared together that has built up a love that will continue to grow in this next chapter of life, and all chapters to come.

To the soon to be Mr. and Mrs.! Thank you guys so much for freezing with me on the mountain! It was so worth it to get to hang out with you guys again. And I’m seriously counting down the days till your wedding, because after this session, I know it’s going to be so wonderful!
