This weekend I got to photograph Felicia and Eric’s engagement photos. She moved from Colorado. He moved from California. Both to Wyoming, where they met one another, and are now getting ready to spend forever with one another. And guys, these two are so sweet together! They never stop smiling when they look at one another. They have fun together. And they have me so excited for their 2020 wedding!

Many times on the blog I’ve talk about the weather, wind, bugs… honestly you name it, that gives us obstacles during our session. But not this one! It was a gorgeous fall day, with the perfect setting. Magically scheduled during that very brief time with perfect leaves! We wandered along the river, walking through the rustling trees and over bridges. We chatted wedding details and they snuggled in gorgeous glowy light. All the while these two made my night awesome!

Eric proposed to Felicia on a trip to California where they were visiting his family. He had the perfect plan, with the perfect ring, in the perfect spot with on a gorgeous scenic overlook. Ready to pop the question to the love of his life. But when they arrived, his spot was already overtaken with tourists! He started to inch closer, hoping they would realize he was trying to use the area. When it was clear they would not, Eric quickly though of plan B. He took Felicia to another spot he knew of, and asked her to be his wife! She of course said yes, ready to start her life with her future husband!

Felicia and Eric, ya soon to be husband and wife! Thank you both! Sunday was so perfect and I’m so glad I got to spend time with you guys! I wasn’t kidding when I said your wedding is going to be fantastic, because it truly is! You two have a beautiful bond that I’m so thrilled I get to capture again in September!
