Senior sessions are in full swing this month. And I’m so dang happy about it! This particular senior holds a special place in my heart. Because not only is Mackenzie one of my 2020 senior spokesmodels, but I actually used to baby sit her when she was just a teeny tiny girl!!! She grew up down the street from us and played with my little sister WyLee all the time! Now she is all grown up getting ready to go into her senior year at NCHS! It just blows my mind how fast she became such a beautiful young lady!
While we hiked all over Rotary park for the first part of her session, her two dogs Bear and Brody ran alongside us. Decked out in bow ties, those boys were looking so dapper! And speaking of her pups! Ever since I have known her this girl has loved animals. Even during her session she told me how she recently found a caterpillar up in the same location we were in, named it, and took him with her! So there is not a doubt in my mind that she will accomplish her dream of becoming a veterinarian after high school.
For the second half of her session we headed downtown. But we were followed by a pretty intense rain storm. It didn’t fluster her one bit though! She was patient while we waited for the breaks in the wind. Smiling and laughing even when the rain started pouring buckets! Luckily the clouds moved quickly though. Before we knew it, the storm had passed and were were back in business!!! Finishing up at her high school track to commemorate the sport she loves.
Mack, thank you so much for braving rain, wind, bugs, and cockle burrs to take your senior photos with me! I had so much fun getting to hang out with you again and I seriously cannot wait to see all you accomplish in the future! You’re gonna rock your senior year and everything after, I just know it!
