The Hilton Garden Inn | Succulent Inspired Wedding | Brittney & Jeffrey

The clouds were looming over us all morning. It would drizzle, and without warning start to pour rain. Not the most ideal situation for a wedding day. I kept checking the radar and it seemed we would be able to make it work perfectly with the timeline. But a whole other part of me was thinking that mother nature never follows the game plan. So when we made our way over to the first look location, I was scrutinizing every cloud, every ray of sun just waiting for the rain. But here’s the thing… The rain was done! The umbrellas I was packing were officially just added weight, and I couldn’t have been more excited!

Brittney and Jeff tied the knot on 8-18-18. Not only is it such an awesome date, they are also a freaking awesome couple! This wedding day had me smiling and laughing the whole time. From the mother of the bride creating Brittney’s stunning updo, to the couples surprise hip-bump as soon as they said I do, I was in awe the whole day, at how much happiness and fun these families share together!

That happiness became even more clear as soon as we arrived at the reception. When the father daughter dance started, it hit me right in the feels. Brittney and her father shared smiles, laughs and even a few happy tears. Then, when the mother son dance started, and Jeffrey serenaded his mom to Boyz II Men’s A Song For Mama. That was it, my heart was going to burst!

Through the whole day, Brittney and Jeff were so full of joy and love for one another. They just fit together like perfect puzzle pieces and I am so crazy excited for them to have the rest of their lives to share with one another! To the new husband and wife, Mr and Mrs. Thomas, congratulations you two! Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me photograph your beautiful day! It was such and honor to get to play my small part in your new beginning!
