There are words you use to typically describe weddings. Intimate, blush pink, rustic, mountain wedding. And there are the words you FEEL during a wedding. Elation, love, warmth, joy. I felt every one of those surrounding the Spring Creek Ranch at Amber and Charliy’s wedding.

When I arrived for their big day my jaw practically fell right off when I saw the back drop for the ceremony. With mountains stretching across the sky and wildflowers spreading over the hills. It was a perfect place for these two to start their forever.

Now here is the thing about these two. They are so happy just to be in the same room with one another. They share smiles so bright when they look into one another’s eyes. This is something I witnessed again and again during their engagement session, and a thousand more times on Saturday. Even before the ceremony, while setting up, Charliy and Amber stole off to the side with a glue gun in hand. I asked “Are you two DIY-ing on your wedding day!?” They smiled at each other beaming, and let’s be honest, the couple that DIY’s together, stays together!

From the vows to the cake cutting, they hardly ever stopped smiling. When the sun dipped below the mountain range, they ended the day on a perfect note. By sharing a warm campfire and roasting marshmallows with the people that mean the most to them.

Charliy and Amber, thank you both so much. From the bottom of my heart, it means the world to me that I was able to photograph your new beginning. I hope your marriage brings you nothing but joy and you never lose the bright smiles you both share together. Now get to enjoying that honeymoon you two! And CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
