Just in case you missed week 9, here ya go!

Week 9

Purchase Under Garments and Dress Fitting– If you didn’t have a dress fitting earlier your seamstress will most likely schedule your first one around this 3 month mark. It is important to purchase and bring the undergarments you will be wearing under your wedding dress to the fitting so that it will fit properly the day of.

Finalize Timeline and Send To Vendors– Sending the timeline now will give your vendors plenty of time to look it over, and make recommendations for minor adjustments. And any adjustment now will be far less stressful that when you are just a few weeks from the big day.

Print Menus and Programs-By taking the time to print these 3 months before the wedding, you will be giving your self time to make sure there are no printing errors. And just like your invitations, save the dates, etc. make absolute sure you double and triple check it. Having to reorder due to a typo or spelling error (says the worst speller everrrrr) would be the worst. One tip I find useful, is to utilize your groom or another wedding party member to have fresh eyes read it over. That will usually help find any mistake there might be!

Get Rings Sized and Engraved-You have probably already had your engagement ring sized. This task is specifically for you and your husband’s wedding bands. This will give your jeweler plenty of time to get them back to you before the wedding. Also decide if you would like your wedding band fussed with the engagement ring. I chose to not do this because I found them easier to take off as two separate rings. BUT they are easier to lose separated (Take it from me, I have to hunt mine down ALL the time!). And maybe i’m the only one who didn’t know, but just in case you’re in the same boat of not knowing how to wear your rings, your wedding ring goes on first (closest to your hand) so that it is closest to your heart (How ‘Awe’ worthy is that tradition?!)
