My most recent session is just another shining example of how amazing the people I get to work with are. Because no one treks through mud and fights the wind for fun. But with a little trust and a goal for beautiful images is in mind, Bri was ready for anything!

Bri just graduated college and was in the radiology program. She put in a lot of effort to get to this point in her life and I couldn’t be more extatic that she choose me to document this exciting time in her life! It was a treat to hang out with her and her parents at Bear Trap Meadow.

I am a firm believer in being upfront with the trials that come up in a photography session. If everything went smooth all day, every day, we would not be able to look back and say “Woah… that was crazy! But we rocked it!”. When issues arise such as mud and wind we just need to trudge through the muck and keep our eyes on the prize!

It really is amazing how much a good attitude can brighten any situation, even a muddy one. And that is exactly what Bri did! She giggled, laughed and soldiered on through the mud! I do have to admit though that my favorite part of this session was when we all channeled Kesha (throw some glitter make it rain!) and got some magical glitter shots!

I am so very grateful for the time this wonderful lady spent in front of my camera, and with one final note I just need to say, congratulations to Bri on the HUGE milestone she has accomplished. I am forever thankful she let me be her photographer.
