I am so overjoyed to introduce our newest family member, Finch! She is spunky, feisty and super cuddly!

Ever since our family lost our first kitty last year I have felt like our home was missing an important piece. But we waited, knowing we all needed time to heal and remember Ichigo who was only a year old when he past.

I cannot tell you how much my heart ached ever time I saw kittens needing a home. Inside my head I was screaming “WE HAVE A HOME! Get all the kitties!!!” But I held off and waited until I knew the time was right. Which happened to be just a few weeks ago.

Scrolling through Facebook late at night I came across a post of kitties needing a home. Troy had just started to snore but I shook him awake anyways

“Should we get a kitty?! Troy! Troy! Do you want a kitty?! I’m getting us a kitty!”

The next morning I took Jay to school, packed up Grey, and headed out to pick up our newest fur ball.

She felt like the puzzle piece my crazy cat lady heart was missing. Roaming around her new home inspecting all of us individually giving us all the opportunity to give her love and welcome her to the family. I already cannot imagine not having a purring fur ball roaming around. (Queue 7 million cat heart eye emojis!)
